MERCURY is a brand new musical written and composed by Sabina Petra.

It tells the story of a fantastic real-life woman; Jerrie Cobb, who fought for her right to be the first female astronaut.

Jerrie had to defend herself against US Congress in order to gain access to the astronaut program. We take a peek inside Jerrie’s mind during these three most impactful days of her life, and see what kind of galaxies reside there.

Mercury is a story of courage, romance, joy and heartbreak. It will take the audience on a ride and make them see history in a different way; a human way. Through the magic of theatre, we get to intimately know about a very real and awe-inspiring woman.
